Open Sewing is a great opportunity for everyone from brand-new sewists to experienced seamstresses who just want a quiet place to sew!
If you’ve already taken our “Get Started with Sewing!” class but don’t own a machine, sign up for Open Sewing and you’ll be able to use our sewing machines for a full three hours. That’s enough time to finish a simple project, if you’ve already cut out everything in advance.
You can also use our spacious cutting tables to lay out your next project. Or bring your in-progress work if you’d like a little extra coaching on a particular technique — we’re happy to help you stitch your first dart or even set in a sleeve.
And finally, we also have a serger machine that’s available for use during Open Sewing. You can use this to give your handcrafted projects the professionally finished seams that they deserve!
Open Sewing takes place every Thursday night, excluding major holidays, and on a selected number of Friday nights.
Advance registration isn’t required, but space is limited. You may wish to register in order to guarantee your spot. We use EventBrite to handle our registrations. Please just complete the form below and choose whether you’d like to pay with PayPal or a credit card. Thank you!
